Football Researcher & Data Analyst Intern
ClubOS is building the operating system for football clubs, one platform that connects every department, from the academy to the first team, from the physio room to the boardroom. To build it well, we need to understand how clubs actually work and be able to measure them.
What you will work on
Mapping how football clubs operate day-to-day across departments, coaching staff, medical, scouting, academy, operations, and management
Identifying pain points, workflows, and information gaps that club staff deal with regularly
Conducting interviews and desk research with people who work inside clubs
Translating findings into structured briefs that directly inform ClubOS product decisions
Building a living knowledge base of how clubs at different levels and in different markets are structured and run
Structuring and analysing data
What we're looking for
Familiarity with football data sources (StatsBomb, Wyscout, Opta, or similar) is a strong plus
Curiosity-driven and structured: asks sharp questions, digs into the numbers, documents findings clearly
Great communication and presentation skills
Student or recent graduate in Sports Science, Sports Management, Data Science, or similar
Plus: Hands-on experience with data tools, Python, R, SQL, or similar
