Football Researcher & Data Analyst Intern

ClubOS is building the operating system for football clubs, one platform that connects every department, from the academy to the first team, from the physio room to the boardroom. To build it well, we need to understand how clubs actually work and be able to measure them.

What you will work on

  • Mapping how football clubs operate day-to-day across departments, coaching staff, medical, scouting, academy, operations, and management

  • Identifying pain points, workflows, and information gaps that club staff deal with regularly

  • Conducting interviews and desk research with people who work inside clubs

  • Translating findings into structured briefs that directly inform ClubOS product decisions

  • Building a living knowledge base of how clubs at different levels and in different markets are structured and run

  • Structuring and analysing data

What we're looking for

  • Familiarity with football data sources (StatsBomb, Wyscout, Opta, or similar) is a strong plus

  • Curiosity-driven and structured: asks sharp questions, digs into the numbers, documents findings clearly

  • Great communication and presentation skills

  • Student or recent graduate in Sports Science, Sports Management, Data Science, or similar

  • Plus: Hands-on experience with data tools, Python, R, SQL, or similar

What you'll get

  • Hands-on involvement in venture building

  • Direct access to founders and decision-makers in the portfolio

  • A fast-moving environment where you get to develop your real-life skills

  • Get access to football professionals, grow your network, and advance your football career

  • A team that works with AI and will be able to teach you the ins and outs
