Our AI-powered sensor and app help players understand their game through real match data tracking every shot, analysing patterns, and turning gameplay into actionable insights. Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and we're building the performance platform that keeps pace with it.
We're now looking for an Ecommerce Lead to own the next phase of Padelplay's commercial growth.
The role
We're looking for someone who understands how modern consumer hardware brands grow through:
D2C ecommerce strategy,
performance marketing,
conversion and funnel optimisation,
and data-driven decision-making.
You'll take full ownership of Padelplay's ecommerce revenue and growth operations across the Netherlands, Spain/Portugal, and the UK, working closely with the Managing Director and our Marketing Lead, who owns content and brand.
The Managing Director owns the long-term product vision and strategic direction. The Marketing Lead owns content, brand, and community. Your role is to translate commercial ambition into ecommerce execution, campaigns, channel strategy, conversion, and measurable revenue growth.
This role is ideal for someone who loves building, testing, optimising, and shipping fast. You need a proven track record in growing D2C ecommerce brands and managing paid campaigns end-to-end.
What you'll do
Growth & performance marketing
Own and grow D2C hardware revenue across our three core markets
Manage and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other relevant channels
Improve acquisition funnels, landing pages, conversion rates, and attribution
Analyse campaign performance and turn insights into action
Manage external agencies and hold them to clear performance targets, while staying hands-on with campaigns yourself
E-commerce operations
Own the online store experience and optimise it for conversion
Develop and test promotional strategies, bundles, and pricing mechanics
Build market-specific approaches for NL, ES/PT, and the UK where needed
Lay the groundwork for subscription and recurring revenue models as the business evolves
Cross-functional collaboration
Work closely with the Marketing Lead to align performance and brand
Partner with product and customer support to identify friction points and improve the purchase journey
Feed market and customer insights back into the broader team
What we're looking for
Must-haves
5+ years of experience in ecommerce, growth marketing, or D2C consumer brands
Proven track record of growing online revenue for a physical product
Strong understanding of paid social and performance marketing
Experience managing agencies and external partners
Highly organised, execution-focused, and comfortable with ambiguity
Strong communication skills in English
Big plus
Experience in SportsTech, consumer hardware, or lifestyle D2C brands
Hands-on experience with Shopify, GA4, Meta Ads, GTM, and email/CRM tools
Active padel player or genuine passion for racket sports
Additional Dutch or Spanish language skills
